Such good knives. FIL will be up this weekend on the way from FL to MI and I'm hoping he has his sharpening set with him. My BM needs a shiny new razor edge.

You can use climbers. They don’t want nails, screws, or permanant stands.

100 percent your summit is legal though. Quick call to dnr will assure that. I use a lone wolf climber, lone wolf lock on, or my climbing sticks with my saddle and never had a problem. The dnr guys never saw a saddle when I was talking to one of them back in November.

Its hot for sure. I lived in SE FL for many years, and had to GTFO, it was too dam hot, and humid, for too much of the year. At least here, it only lasts for a few months. The heat is comparable, humid as balls too. but there are actual seasons, which is great. Winter in FL was nice for the 2-3 months it lasted.

Winter in Fl last for 2-3 weeks. Winter snow birds last for 8 months. Im sure Oct is a nice time of the year to enjoy the outdoors.

Hahaha, very true. had to watch out for the cotton ball heads as they drive down the road at speed limit -30 , peering under the steering wheel to see out the front  I do miss the extra wide roads, and the great road signage, I have to imagine its like that for ll them old folks.........

Very tru, lived in a small POS rental 1 block off the beach in Deerfield for a year, my most favorite location I had lived in FL, then Jim Cantore showed up in his little weather channel van, and we had to go

OJT and practice exams. Lots of free stuff out there, but I like pluralsight.com, good stuff and worth the cost.
