    Third coat.

Netflix just called. Apparently I violated their terms of use when I painted this with a BLACK MIRROR finish.

Still got to sand the black. I'll let it completely cure then polish it with this

    That's the last

I'll let it cure, wet sand, then clear coat and polish

I feel like if I try for more I'll ruin it. Every time I go to put down a layer I have wrinkle visions. Luckily the Krylon is good quality paint and has been nothing short of perfection

    I lied.

Found a minor imperfection where the paint wasn't even and fixed it.

    7th coat.

Honestly it just keeps getting better and better. That will be the last cost of black though. For real this time.

    Krylon is the shit

So smooth and even. Zero orange peel, zero runs, zero wrinkle.

I left the heater on in the garage all morning to keep the humidity down. I had a feeling I should wait until later in the day when the dew point dropped but the garage felt warm and dry so I started the clear.

    Should have waited.

Can’t you just wet sand it?

That's what I'm going to try later on. It should sand out. It's weirdly smooth though. No texture, just looks like orange peel.

I'd like to do the crawl box this summer, but it'll depend on how good or bad the rice season goes. After that I'm not sure. Probably just some small little nit-noid crap to keep me occupied for a while.

The sudden change in pace for me at work has me a bit iffy about the crawl box. I do all of the flying but now I'm only getting paid when I'm flying. So in a 10 hour day, if I fly for an hour, I get paid for an hour. I'm not cool with this. Looking for the next job hard after rice.
