Without UCAs? Shouldn't take more than 4 hours solo tbh.

    Yep I understand.

I'd probably get new u-bolts, shackle bolts, shock bolts, and nuts for the struts. Probably start spraying the UBJ now with pbblaster or equivalent.

Just cut off whatever won't easily come apart and not worry about it.

Cool! I will start sourcing this stuff and working on coaxing those bolts out. Yeah I also don’t have the tools or quite frankly expertise to attempt this on my own. I’m sure I could do it but I don’t want to end up with a problem that could have been easily avoided with the expertise you all bring to the table.
Thanks for the helpful responses guys!

Honestly the two worst parts of a suspension job are the stupid UCA bolts and installing brake lines. Since you're not doing either and not using super heavy leaf springs that are kind of hard to manhandle into place solo.. not a bad task. I'd offer to help but I'm absolutely nowhere near philly.

Cool man, I appreciate the offer and information. I’m actually not in philly anymore I’ve moved to schwenksville about an hour northwest of philly. I guess it’s time to start buying tools!

Picked up a free All-pro bumper from @The Hunter this week, I might try to have it Powdercoated and mounted with the Smittybilt winch I have sitting at home for the CI meet / FRO run. I won't be bummed to have a winch on the truck just in case.

Anyone out here in NW PA or am I the only one? Last mention of Warren was about half the thread ago. New to the forum, had my tacoma for about a year and a half. Getting ready to do the ECGS bushing in the front diff, was wondering if there was someone local with some experience or if I was going into it blind (as usual)

I'm from NWPA, but in a similar boat. I, unfortunately do not have any experience with much of the mechanical stuff yet. I have a bunch of mods, and preventative maintenance planned for this summer/winter though. Maybe I'll be a novice next year instead of a noobie. Good luck!
