I have no problem at all with China. They fully deserve all of their success for being intrepid and shrewd. My point is, the tents are all made at the same Chinese plant, but with different logos.

Good SW Ontario. Just south of Toronto. I was thinking the same solar setup. Just scored a second battery the other day. Need to figure out my heating options but im looking into a portable diesel heater unit.

Thanks! the planning was the most critical, which is why i drafter it in Sketchup to make sure visually i had everything making sense.
Under my build thread you can find it here :https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/manfreds-white-rhino.520332/page-17#post-20121717 BUT i also used this users thread as inspiration https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/finally-built-a-set-of-truck-drawers-pic-heavy.550152/

Yes / no / maybe. I'm with you. I think a lot of them are the same. But these plants also make the same product with different tier materials.

Learnt me that in a sweet video about bicycle components and RC gear.

We already covered that, that's why I was confuse why you brought it up again.

Is this because you're mad at me because I haven't shared my Instagram with you yet ?

What's better about sleeping on the ground? I gave that shit up a long time ago, we spent almost as much on our mattress as we did the tent so we're a comfortable 5" off the ground. In this thread or another I already said this, but my biggest drawback and the reason I won't spend money to find out if I'm wrong is the fact that it anchors my truck. I like being able to set up camp, then leave, because chances are I'm there to do something other than being in my tent.

I don't fully disagree with you when it comes to MT owners tho.

OP I'll give you words of wisdom an old man shared with me one time. He said, "There are 2 things you shouldn't be afraid to spend money on, a comfy place to lay your head at night and a comfy pair of shoes, because if you're not using one, you're using the other."

If you haven’t noticed the ascent of China, maybe you need to get out of your RTT and look around.
