any mod in particular you completely regretted or didnt live up to your expectations?

I personally regretted my bakflip, roughly 1k, came dented scratched, weathered, look used to be honest, didnt line up or fit correctly either.

    Totally disappointed.

3rd gen. Wish I could have gotten a second. Easier to do the mods I want. And tube bumpers looks better cause grill/ bumper have a flatter line to cut.

Not particularly. But I tend to fuss over mods and stuff for far too long before I buy something so I know what I am getting into.

Edit: I have had mods turn out far BETTER than I expected though.

I bought the knock off ECT always on mod. Nothing wrong with it. I just don't really use it anymore so I took it off after a day or so.

I stopped using ect and i was getting better mpg with it off. I took my truck in for service and they did the tranny update and now I get worse mpg with ect off.

pretty strange, driving with ect on now though seems to have got me back to my old level.

because of the size? I dont see too many of those around but the 4door itself is pretty small I couldnt imagine getting a smaller interior.

Ive said this many times, but its so surprising to me that my wifes accord is significantly roomier than the tacoma.

I kinda wish I had bought an access cab instead! I have a DCLB and it's a tad bit too long for some trails. I

maybe its an illusion, but the double cabs feels wayyyy bigger than the access cab, maybe im just crazy is its only like 8 inches or something of extra cab space back there. also when I have all my hunting gear or biking gear in the back it feels super crammed. dunno I just grow to hate access cabs more and more.

My Tacoma. When I drove my 2002 Honda Civic, all I did was tires and oil changes. Now I'm broke all the time.

Also OEM rear kings, limited travel. Should have just put that money towards a shock relocation for a little more.

I miss my access cab, but my kids don't miss being as cramped back there.

A Flowmaster 50. It sounded great but the drone inside the cab was a little too much for me. Good news is i was able to sell it for what i paid for it!

Oh, on that note, not disappointed, BUT looking at replacing my LCAs with TC lowers. Add that to the cost of Kings and Camburg uppers and I could have had long travel for a similar price.

My son is quickly approaching 6 foot, and I am 6'3" so I am sure he will surpass that.

Purchasing a new 2017 3rd Gen Tacoma over a new 4Runner. But I remedied that issue.

Every little bit helps. I bought a new car seat and on the passenger side I was able to slide back the seat 2 notches. Made all the difference for my wife.
