Not the actual circuit..but the one they had setup for the Audi stuff.

 

If we go to COTA in our own vehicles, im stealing the wifes Jag for a weekend. Lol

 

Well of course that was implied after a few road sodas. But save your money ride with me my desert driving skillz are ninja like.

 

Might take you up on that. Just want to drive my truck fast in some dirt if only for a short time.

Rally Ready is in Dale, TX about 30mins from Central Austin. It's a bit past COTA, lost in the boonies. 150 acres of land and they're working on another couple hundred next doors.

You pay the $150 for 10am-5pm day, and race as many laps as you want with your own truck (anything safe to go around the track really... as per the owner who told me he had no issue letting a clapped out fully rusted 1st gen 4runner take a rip a while back) on the track that was built for the Raptor Run X with jumps and all back in February. He only cares that you give the guy in front of your enough room before you send it and that you wear a helmet. It's a very relaxed atmosphere as long as everyone is being smart.

I was a co-driver for Raptor X and drove my own truck out there last month. I wouldn't suggest it for Overland-style rigs that might be on the heavier side with too little suspension, lack of bump stops, etc. I was running within about 5 secs to the Raptors. Helps having grippy tires and a smaller overall size/weight out there.

Would have to check with Dave, as he mainly runs UTVs out there when it's not trucks or rally cars. I imagine ATVs might open them up to more liability with the whole no roof or cage thing.
