Pet peeve time. Here's a few of mine.

    1. The term "sick" other than when someone is actually sick.
Ex. That truck looks sick. Um, whatever.

    2. When someone says "my son is 13 going on 14". Just tell me the age, I can do the math.

Sayings from people I work with
    3. Me, "how ya doin". Them "better at 6 o'clock". I hate that

    4. There he is. Guys will walk by and says there he is. What the hell does this mean?

    5. "Ready to go to the house". Good, please leave.

    6. Spit talkers.

I feel your pain. In December I went to Dallas for my nieces wedding. Damn that state is big. I have to go back in October for my nephews wedding. Why can't they just shack-up?

Haha... great list. Here are a few of mine...

-Drive speed limit or less in fast lane on the FWY (it's a passing lane idiot).
-Sloppy drunks (go be obnoxious and drink yourself to oblivion at your own home).
-Guys that say "yeah dude" every time they see something cool.
-People who like to give advice when no one asked them for it.
-The guy/gal who is always right and doesn't listen to anyone else.
-Entitled people who expect everything to be given to them.
-Snowflakes who are intolerant of other opinions and find everything politically incorrect.

I'm pretty mellow. The one thing that peeves me is waiting. For anything. If I have a doctors appointment at 3 I want the doctor to be there to hold the door open for me. If I click on Amazon buy now button I want that thing to magically appear at my feet. If the light is red... Oh well.

I'm not sure how they can pull it off. Im thinking that I'm physically incapable of getting sloppy anymore.

True story from this weekend, I overestimated my tolerance with 750 ml of barrel-aged stout. :anonymous: This is how it works for me now: 6-8 pm- lucid and not feeling any effects from drinking all night. 8-11: slight buzz. Still perfectly lucid, still have full coordination, just relaxed. 11:01 - must go to bed rightthefucknow. No more slurring or silly antics, just "goodnight" and walk towards the camper mid conversation. Getting old is weird sometimes.

Yeah... similar for me. I have a window where I'm feeling nice and relaxed/buzzed. Then... must. go. to. bed. right. now. can't. keep. my. eyes. open.
