    I placed my order at 12:31 EST for the matte Black Sema wheels and CAI from Butte Toyota and used the TRDSHIP code. Just got off the phone with them to confirm the free shipping went through because it said Shipping: (TBD) $0.00 in my order details. They confirmed that I would not be charged shipping.

    Also check your junk mail for order confirmations, mine went to junk mail.

    My story is this:

    Woke up at 12:00 AM 4/4
    Ordered 4 TRD 4Runner pro wheels, total $560 ish
    Saw the TRDSHIP promo code on here.
    Fell back asleep around 2:00 AM
    Woke up again at 7:30 AM (the time the dealer I bought from opens).
    Left a message, sent an email about my order.
    Followed back up around 9:00 AM with a call.
    He cancelled my first order so I could re-order with the promo code for shipping
    Did that - $516 shipped for the wheels
    9:36 AM Got an email saying "we received your order" which the parts guy explained is only the first of 3 emails and that DOES NOT mean it was entered and processed.
    9:47 AM Got an email saying "Status update, your order has been placed and should be shipped in 2-4 days"
    11:28 AM Placed another order for TRD Pro Shift Knob - received an email "we received your order" but have NOT received the 2nd email saying it was entered and processed.
    ...
    If their order numbers go in numerical order, there were 2,123 orders placed between my 9:36 AM wheel order and my 11:28 knob order.

    Indeed when I talked to the parts guy at the dealer I ordered from this morning he was unaware that this entire thing was happening. He walked into a sh*tshow this morning and was very very positive and nice but I could hear the uneasiness in his voice as the orders were pouring in...

    I ordered from Stevinson Toyota West in Colorado last night, I didn’t know about the free shipping code until after I ordered. I asked them if they will give me free shipping, Derek said yes, and is refunding my shipping. That’s great customer service! Give them a try if you are having anything shipped. Also no tax.

    Really sucks to be those parts guys today and the rest of the month probably. If they had notified the dealerships and allowed all of them to participate, it probably wouldn't have been so bad on the select few online shops. :notsure:

    Toyota is reimbursing dealers for the 40% off. But I think dealers are afraid Toyota won't reimburse them for the free shipping code since it was not intended for the general public.

    Hatch Toyota called me to charge me extra $129 on shipping on my order for sema wheels! How the hell I already paid the shipping earlier? Now they add an additional $129 on top of my $32.95 I already paid?

    WTF? What'd you tell them?

    Even BEFORE I found the TRDSHIP promo, my shipping was only going to be $42 (Hell, I placed the order and have proof. Subsequently cancelled it to place w/o shipping charge).

    NOW if I put 4 wheels in the cart the shipping shows $26.95.

    I wonder how they calculate it..... random number generator.
