All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
X2 that looks amazing! Thanks for posting!

I once dated a girl who went to Columbine HS. She was out sick the day of the shooting. Needless to say, that messed with her head and she had a crazy outlook on life. Basically, "going to school can kill you, so why not do what you want." That relationship didn't last too long. First day her Ex came back into town, it was pretty much over.

Moab has a lot to offer, we chose to ride were we went, they are plenty of great places there that don't put you on the edge.
We saw a lot of people riding bikes, canoeing, ATVs or just walking. they are endless amounts of trails in Utah.

Oh, it's on my list of places to go.

Don't get me wrong, I'm about as cautious of a guy as you are going to meet; but I'd drive my truck right up to the edge of Top of the World. I've seen hundreds of pictures of others doing it. If it happens to break while I'm on it.....then it was just the Lord's time to call me home.

The day before my new tires got here I believe my trans pooped the bed

Thought it was the pilot bearing and some symptoms didnt sound like the pilot but crossed my fingers and got the marlin clutch kit installed.

Must be a bearing in the trans, now.
    -New w59 from marlin

    -rebuild my factory trans

-get a used one and swap over the new shifter bushings/clutch

-marlin r150 adapter for future power upgrades and used r150

Not sure how expensive rebuilding is, feel like getting a used one in a couple years the same will happen. Leaning towards the $1100 marlin for reliability reasons.

    This is exactly my thoughts.
Also going back to MTs, pulling the trailer can be done with ATs, but I would feel better with a more aggressive tire.
I like the Toyo RTs I put in my FJC. Super quiet too.

Nothing official but I’d be down for that. A lot of people have talked about going but nothing officially set yet. Should probably make a separate thread to wrangle up everyone who’s going

What up Mark! I am in the process of figuring all that out. I saw the pics of your friends. Looks nice. Hard to beat Birch and Alum.

I will rolling with the Goose Gear Plate System and one of their Kitchens.
