Problems With clear coat

I was wondering if anyone else is having any issues with there clear coat????

I have a 2009 Tacoma and my clear coat is starting to come off. I park it under my car port and avoid parking under trees.

 

how often have you waxed it?

 

i wax it about every six months

If you mean 'come off' like peeling skin after a bad sunburn, I would take it to the dealer. Even if it was neglected, that's way too early for clearcoat to be coming off (since your truck is a 2009).

Pictures would be helpful to assess the situation...

 

mine is doing the same. 2006 clearcoat is coming off the fender flares and the hood scoop looks like crap. I have not taken the best care off my truck but come on 60k miles and the clear is coming off.

 

It's less about miles and more about sun exposure, fallout, lack of wax, etc.

What does the roof look like? If its just your flares and scoop, maybe you can have them repaired separately.
