So hammer hanger and shackle flip are two different animals. I would recommend the hammer hangers. My take on a shackle flip is it's only for the most serious rock crawlers. I put my truck in some shit and even I don't want one. Too many cons IMO.

What you would really need is longer shocks and a shock relocate to take advantage of the additional travel. If you put the HH on right now, you would still see an added benefit in ride quality. You just wouldn't get any extra droop as your shocks are the limiting factor. Even EXT kings are pretty short in the grand scheme of things.

My extended length is 31.6" and the EXT Kings are like 25.5"ish. Probably a 9" stroke. For reference the standard rear king length is 24.3" extended.

Oh I see. Im not against getting the HH now and upgrading the shocks later. My Kings are just about new.

That is true… doesn't the shock relocation require welding? I don't live near the Mobtown boys!

Yeah, it's a bit of work. Have to cut off the stock mounts and weld on new ones. Your best bet would be finding a local member who has done it, and doing it in a day. Throw em a few hundred bucks and lend a hand where you can as it's a lot of work. 100% worth it though.

@EatSleepTacos you're a terrible influence. Just got the hammer hangers. I would have got the shock relocation and the shocks but i need Mobtown skids for a trip to Colorado. Nothing is ever complete!

2.5x14 triples with dakars, hangers, and the 4.9" shackle. I can almost droop them all the way out, the abs lines are my limit factor.
