That looks nice! Have a similar truck with MT.
Have always wanted to know what a little lift would look like on it.

    Rocktrac,
Check out this flatbed I built for my Dad's old beater 95, 2.7L. I cut the bottom off his bedside and attached it below the new one. I built his ladder racks too. He wanted the tool box up like that so it would be easy to slide out the side. I think it looks bad, but he is all about function, not form.

I ended up adding "leaf helpers" to support the extra weight. His frame is roached and at this point I think the white rails (see bottom pic) may be holding the back half of the frame together haha.

Got that TRD sticker and badge upgrade, ay Voytko? The truck looks good, no matter.

How's your 4cyl handling those heavy 32s? I went Wildpeaks in the same dimensions, and I haven't noticed a difference in mpg vs my 16" wheels and stock 30s. I went from 64lbs per wheel/tire to 66.5 lbs.

They were on the truck when I got it so I have nothing to compare it to and my last truck was a RAM sport so its way slower then that lol.... but seems comparable to my 89 Toyota that had 31s on it...

Very nice trucks. I'm new here..I really like the access cab trucks...I'm looking to buy one...and I see a lot of the 2.7 trucks...I'm just so used to my ole Xtra cab V6 Toy... But I'm ready to upgrade...I know the new 4 cyl has as much HP as my old truck V6..
I wouldn't be towing much...by the looks of these pictures I've looked at the 2.7 can do it..
I would be driving 170 miles more than likely ever week when hunting season comes in...
Question is would I be fine with the 2.7?
Riding miles? Plus I've found a lot of the Access cabs 2.7s around...the V 6 trucks are a little rare to find.. how do they do in 4 wheel drive?

Ive made it up some narly stuff in a 4cyl...when you drop it into 4lo you can just about get out and walk next to it as it crawls over stuff...Took mine up a crazy steep boulder trail in CO...it crawled right up it. Ive had nothing but good experiences kicking the truck in 4x4.

I don't remember what power was like stock but lower gears can fix that. I consider this truck underpowered, especially in 4hi, but 4lo is pretty solid. I rarely even use 4hi for that reason. 99.9% of the time I go from 2wd to 4lo and just use a higher gear until doing any rock crawling. If your truck is open/open then power in 4hi may be ok but any kind of rear or front locker and (for me at least) 4hi is pretty much useless unless on icey/snowy roads where traction is minimal.

How are you liking the access cab over your previous reg. cab? My first truck was a 1984 reg. cab S-10 Chevy, after having an access cab I could never go back to a reg. cab, don't know how I managed with so little interior room.
