Closing in one week from today. Off work next Thursday and Friday to lift heavy shit and put heavy shit down. Moving everything in multiple trips in a UHaul. Going to suck but the end of this will be well worth the sacrifices and struggles.

Have you tried the other key? Assuming the key has a transponder chip in it, it could be the key itself although that's very rare. It's also very rare for an OEM security system to fail. If the other key doesn't do it, try unlocking the doors from the outside using the key, that includes the trunk. Every OEM security system can be engaged and disengaged with one or all of the key cylinders in the doors. That's a fail safe incase the remote dies.

Define help. I am using the pig (truck) and a uhaul trailer and my man strength (alone) Thursday. Wife is getting off work early Thursday to come finish the BS like cleaning, smaller items etc. Hoping to have one maybe two more buddies after work to help move mattresses and couches into the trailer and my toolbox.

Friday, being a week-end day, we are both off work (closing and signing) and we will likely have more people, again after work, to help unload and make runs back and forth.

Saturday, a BUNCH of people offered (no surprise) but that is likely just to check out the new digs and bullshit. Most of the items should be moved in and setup by then. Comcast is scheduled in the afternoon and hopefully won't occupy too much of my time, personally, so I can drive and coordinate bros.

    Home stretch baby!

Awesome! Hope the weather will be friendly!

When we moved to our house, we did it a few light loads in the week, and kept the big items for the week end. Didn't ask any help lol but we were moving from our parents. When we'll move again, there will be much much more stuff to move haha! I'll take the cube van from work and a few friends for sure!
