Mine was not wired up, the green wire from what I read in the manual, is ONLY if you want the warning lights to activate under WOT. If not wired up, they will light up under any throttle position, granted they exceed your limits that you set.

Do you gents see any reason why i couldnt safely run my stock y-pipe (with cats) with a stage 2 UCon tune for no cats? I have no cats on the headers, so i dont think ill have an issue with it clogging up the ones on the manifolds but im worried about negative effects from the secondary set in the y-pipe clogging up.

Long story short, i want to install a TRD catback exhaust with my factory y-pipe until i can make it up to @Roostfactor 's to have the TRD catback mated to my JFR y-pipe. Any reasons i shouldnt do this? All responses/input welcome

I ran the stock y-pipe for a week or two when I first got the TRD exhaust. No issues.

What kind of fittings did you use to attach the hose to the reservoir?

 

I've bought a couple sets with my trial and error. Canton racing fittings. My advice would be buy fittings last. Or at least after you commit to a mounting orientation. I had mine all figured out then bought a different intake. That put a wrench in my routing.

 

Anything 1/2"npt to 3/4 barb fitting should work. I used teflon tape but backed a fitting of just a little and have a slight leak. My suggestion would be to use a silicone rated for coolant applications to make it a first try success.

 

Be aware that the Canton tank I'm running comes with no lid. Yes, I bought the billet one you see in my picture. 60 bucks just for that.

Yes. Hp is addictive when you have a truck that defies standard norms. My guilty pleasure is getting a bimmer to go all out feeling threatened buy my loaded work truck sailing by him. Ahh. Good times.
