Here's a shot of all my lights so far. Two pods, single row 20", and high beams. My house is a solid couple hundred yards. And the woods beside our shop is probably pushing 400. And my lights are aimed straight I had the truck angled a little to the left.

Haven't posted up on my build in a while and thought I'd show some changes and something big that's coming!:D I had an itch for a CB so I bought a little Midland pro505 xl for 27 bucks on Amazon and my brother gave me his old Browning 48" whip. I mounted the radio where the ashtray was and the whip on the drivers side of the hood with a small bracket. That little radio is great, its as clear as some higher end radios I've seen and has pretty decent range for only 27 bucks. I also threw on a gun rack in my back glass just to have a place to hang stuff. But this is what I'm really excited about.... I just pulled the trigger on a trail gear low profile tube bumper and the add on light hoop from low range offroad... they were on sale.:bananadance: Should be here in a couple weeks, and in the mean time I'm gonna get a crash course in welding from my dad so I can put that light hoop on.

I like those trail gear bumpers - I've read that the cross member stiffens up the front a little which is a good thing!

Got the stock bumper off today. I still need to shoot some paint and cover up the silver that will be behind the new bumper. Already loving how it’s gonna look. UPS says it’ll be here tomorrow:D.

Just finished the paint with some flat black high performance enamel from rustoleum, now all I need’s a bumper!

This stuff is good. I've used it to black out the vertical bar on the left side of the radiator and used it to paint my pinch weld on the cab.

Has held up extremely well. Going to be walking this path with a tube bumper soon as well.

Nice to see somebody do it

Got the bumper mocked up today. Planning on welding the light tabs and the stinger on this weekend and shooting some paint. Think it’s gonna look pretty good.

Got the bumper tacked together and test fitted last night and finished up the welds and shot the first coat on it today. I used rustoleum’s truck bed coating on the cross member and the bumper. Wanted a little texture and durability. Turning out pretty good I think.

Finished up the bumper today and got it mounted. Really happy with how it turned out. Only concern is the durability of the coating I used, but we’ll see what happens.

Finally got another set of lights since I sold my leds. Went with two Hella 500FFs for now. Wanted something I would’nt get a ticket for running on the road like a light bar. I also like the look of them better than a bar.

I got tired of the factory shifters especially the automatic shifter, so this is what I came up with. I bought a Hurst black anodized pistol grip and a custom black ball for the 4x4 from core-shifters.com. I think it turned out great.

Haven't been on here in a while, so I figured I'd post up some updates. First I blacked out all the chrome; grill, rear bumper, emblems. Also coated my fender flares in bedliner since they were fading pretty bad. Found a black camper for really cheap that I had to pull the trigger on. Finally upgraded my suspension to bilstiens and toytec springs, and it rides wayyyyy better and I gained about an inch from the old springs with spacers. Also got a black Toyota decal for the tailgate, and I'm digging the look. Toytec windshield banner too. My brother got an itch and bought a new camera, so we had to take some good pictures.

Your truck is looking good as always.

Where did you get the Hurst shifter handle?
