    I’m thinking since 2020 Tacoma Pro wheels are updated and the 4Runner is due for a refresh soon.. this sale was a pretty good way to clear old stock.

    Or Toyota is looking to start the quarter off strong..

    Any other theories?

    Not complaining, just curious.

    You answered your own question, it drums up hype and conversation. It moves inventory and makes people happy (like myself). If you know what you're looking for you can find better deals than what's been out there. Only dweebs are lookin at oil caps and belts n clear bras for bumpers and wack stuff.

    Toyota is required by law to continue producing the wheels for both the current 4Runner TRd Pro and Tacoma TRD Pro as long as their warranties are valid as they are OEM factory wheels. I doubt they need to offload a bunch right now.

    I like the looks, and I don't do any rock crawling. Just fire roads, Green trails, occasional SVRA and Forests trails.

    In all honestly, I don't want to weigh-down this pussy engine with quality steel.
