Janster hates lockers, right? She would never use one or need one.

The truck will never need a locker! Nope, never. :p Mall crawling requires finesse driving. I have plenty of experience in the drivers seat! ;)

But seriously - SLTLary & cclax, ARB's are awesome! Lots of people complain about them. I've had two ARB's in my jeep for 7 years and I've only ever had the o-rings replaced in the rear (water in diff) and that didn't even prevent the lockers from working. As long as you get the proper installation and proper oil/diff maintenance (no water) - they'll last a long time. And since ARB's require a gear setup....think about whether or not you wanna chnage your gearing for bigger tires.

It all depends on the tire size you go to and what you want from the truck.

32's aren't that bad and you may or may not notice any difference. You'll have to wait and see how it feels and how the truck responds when you step on the gas. The area where you might notice it the most - if you have a manual tranny and you get on the highway and start using 5th/6th gear. It might lug a bit because the rpm's are too low.

But anytime you go with bigger tires (height) - the power band changes. When you accelerate - it'll feel like a loss of power.

When you start getting into 33" tires - you can change the gears in the front & rear differentials to get the power band back again. Hard to explain it all here -but it's a topic in itself that's worth researching.

    That's why I put 5th/6th - wasn't sure.

Not sure how the Automatics would do powerwise - guess it would eventually lug along once it gets up into the higher gears. Never put bigger tires on an Auto.

Why do you say this?

I have larger tires on all my trucks, 3 of wich are autos.
