I have to take some. I am not 100% sure if it's an older All Pro bumper or a knock off, it's multi piece / bolt together. I am going to try to test fit it this week and if it fits well I will drop it off for powder coating asap.

Is seized even possible on a 5 year old truck? Looks like amag413 is in a 2014. Shouldn't be anything seized or rusted. Need I remind you of what I dealt with last weekend?

    20190327_161649.jpg

2003 parts from upstate New York. Probably never replaced till me. See the upper bolts at the top of the strut... Diablo brand blade on a Dewalt 20volt recip saw. Kerplunk it comes out, seized... my butt. The bolt at the bottom to the LCA was trickier but came out with tenacity without cutting. I don't think a 2014 will have a problem.

Sorry amag413, I live close by (Oley) but am up to my ears in my own repairs currently. Good luck. Repairs are the excuse we all need to buy the fun tools we need that save us thousands in garage bills. Buy whatever tools it takes, they generally pay off the first time you do a job!

Lets throw together amag413 a shopping list of basic things he'll need...

We all gotta start somewhere. I've learned most of my mechanical knowledge by a Haynes manual, YouTube & just doing it.

    Metric deep impact socket set
Metric wrench set (ratcheting are a plus)
Metric shallow impact set is also nice

That's about it for bare minimum tools at least for my gen1 coilover job if nothing was seized. Seized requires the saw and or a torch (ex. Propane), if very unlucky then also a drill and maybe a tap/die set.

Very possible and I would prepare for it. Also don't forget the anti-seize.

alright. probably asked this before, and i don't need a link to another thread. just the short answer. i have 285/70/17 now. i'm thinking of pushing to 35s. Is it feasible to do without re-gearing? or should I just stick with the 33". truck is already lifted with total chaos upper & lower control arms.

I’ll put in my 2 cents... 33s now and everything is okay. Definitely lost some power but not a lot but is bare able. But with 35s you are probably going to see a big difference and not be happy. I’m about to re gear later this year to 5.29s and stay with 33s until next year when I can find a wheel I want and 35s

Auto. Plans to regear at some point, just not anytime in the immediate future.

Agreed. 33s are okay, not perfect with stock gearing. 35s should really be regeared.

nah, i've been riding on 33s for like 2 years, i'd prefer not to implode my trans. I'll get 33s again for now. maybe end of this year i'll have some money for a complete ecgs regear.

It’s costing me $2155 for 5.29 gears and that’s them having my truck for 5 hours

I'm weird, I'd just get assembled diffs from ECGS and slam them in myself.
