    Cut off by an empty car hauler semi. Heard a small rock impact. Didn't notice crack for like 15 min. It runs from top of passenger side down to middle of window. Using insurance

    Near the go pro. It's going to work it's way to the driver side. I've had worse sounding impacts do nothing. Trying to make state farm give me oem glass.

    Yes. Was much cheaper. Mine is also a '17 so no radar or anything to be messed up by aftermarket glass....

    We have replaced more windshields at the dealer lever in the last 4 to 5 years than i have ever seen.
    I would hypothesize the use of camera and radar on new vehicles forced the glass to be thinner, and by design easier to break. Although a friend in the insurance industry says its from the more sloping angle....
    Either way, windshields are easier to crack than ever....
