Considering that initially I imagined 1.05 being the final version, only to put more into this for 2019 (in terms of custom code and rewriting logic) we're now doing more than we've ever promised and more work in this than ever before.
But it takes time. Months.. to do some of this stuff.
That stutter issue is the perfect example. We've solved it. But you think solving it was quick or easy? LOL no. Want to see the code that controls All of the damn shifting and Torque converter controls?
It's not just finding "the torque converter controls"... because there are dozens.
it's finding the torque converter controls > Which one > under what conditions > when is this map called

Mat you dont have to explain yourself. Wannabe tuners are everywhere but have not even contributed anything useful unlike what you've accomplished for our 3rd gens. Ignore the dingdongs and continue to do good things.

Most of the people complaining don’t understand programming and definitely don’t even know what assembly is.

Sorting through someone else’s code is a nightmare to say the least and then use a low level programming language on top of that

Mat said "Improve driveability." Mission accomplished plus a whole lot more.

Cruise Control has been "un-fucked" since the initial release of 1.05.

What’s the chances of being able to disable the “ecu learning period?” There would almost be no point in waiting for the handheld version, if that can’t be disable. The main point of the handheld is to change tunes on the fly, but if the ecu is constantly having to learn after each tune then that would make it kind of useless. Unless, you’re just going from gear lock to performance. So might as well just stick to the computer version.

Right Mat, I was referring to normal mode CC, which actually works like it should (finally!) in 1.05. Didn't know you were actually working to improve Adaptive as well. Good news! :)

With the development Mat is currently working on, there will be no need to swap between different octane tunes. I'm not sure what you mean by "learning" but if you are talking about fuel trims and ignition correction, those are kind of required... .

OVtune sent me 2 test files for the shutter issue and subsequently told me he would reimburse me for fuel. I flashed the first one and on a cold rainy day I set out, put on some audio books and went for a 200 mile test drive. When I inquired about reimbursement in my review of test file 1 I got radio silence.

^ This guy has been a pain for months on end. You can hardly say you're "patient" when you write comments like this.

He should have sent it to me, no reimbursement needed. And I would have hooked up a 6000 pound trailer to really see if the shutters are gone :mudding:

You really wanted reimbursement for fuel. Wow. That's messed up. I would have gladly done it and not expected reimbursement. Not only would I be benefiting from the data but I would be helping everyone else on the forum and bettering our platform. And all for 20 bucks. Seems to be well worth it to me. And not to mention i wouldn't even have my truck still if not for Matt and ovtune

I sent you the two files, you tested file 1, said it fixed it, then said you wanted to test file 2 after putting more time on file 1. I haven't heard back since about file 2, even after telling you that you didn't have to test file 2 you said you were going to anyway.

I offered you the fuel reimbursement for your time. But now it's radio silence? Want to double check your conversation with us?
