Very true, it's great stuff. Although I don't think I'll buy another Signet at $180... definitely not at $250!

First time trying the rye. Not too shabby. Only other rye I've had was Bulliet.

@Treker @Jibbs no "Islay Storm", I think thats the bottle you want. Just these house labels:

I’d be in for that highland single malt 10 year. The rum cask one looks good too.

That's so fucking cool I wouldn't ever finish it just to display the bottle forever.

It's pretty smooth. I'm horrible at describing flavor profiles...but it's got some bite to it being 100 proof & all. I just poured myself a couple fingers

All this talk about the McKenna made me go check my bottle to see if was the same thing, just realized it was barreled on my 23rd birthday lol

    623CBCBD-9822-42AB-ABC2-2AFC2C1AEF5D.jpg

As others have said, it’s good but has a pretty decent bite to it. I paid like $37 for it, and I have others I like more for the price. Just my $.02

I bought a bottle of Ezra just before Christmas, good stuff and fairly cheap. It came in a gift set with a glass.

Finlaggan is also one I want to try and I see it in the edges of two of the pics. It's also trader Joe's exclusive, just not as forwardly obvious on the label (think it says in fine print)- but that's the stuff the internet thinks is actually just younger ardbeg, hence my interest)

However, I too would like to try the rum cask. Shoot me a PM if you want to assist

Got my first bottle of Lagavulin 16 yesterday... I had a pour a couple months ago and have been thinking about it since. Can't wait to crack it open in a few days. $65 at my near-ish-by Total Wine! Most places around me at $85+

    It's a good day!

@49erfan I called ahead and they had six available. I got there and there were only three left. Have you opened yours yet? Let me know what you think!

I'm saving up for my trip to Scotland in the fall. I'm not going to bring any clothes back with me; my entire suitcase is going to be scotch

Hell yeah. The wife and I are planning a trip to Scotland/Norway later this year too. I can't wait! I think we'll just be in Edinburgh and book an Islay tour. You planning on anything in particular?
