I wish I knew how to weld. I was never exposed to welding earlier in life so I never learned. All the courses on welding in my area are geared and prices towards a person being certified to weld as a trade not for a hobbyist.

    Good morning Susan, gang,
Still some snow around my place, been working on the "iceberg" where snow from my garage and mobilehome roofs dump snow, plus snow down by the creek where the sun doesn't hit yet. Been working on the burm along our road so I can get to my oak firewood, as I can split that wood first to start refilling my woodshed. One row of wood in my shed still for Spring.

    Evening all:
The design stage was done by someone else Mike, I just had to fab it.
Interesting design, it's also made to be a breakaway, in the river that's pretty well a must, they sell them for $125, I might have $20 in it!
And there's a reason I painted it yellow, just in case, and even if it doesn't work I'll at least have a pretty anchor! :D

    Morning all:
There probably is a market for them in our area, but I don't think too many people would buy a $100+ anchor that they may lose in the river, INCLUDING ME!
I have never seen an anchor like this on a boat locally, it seems like they have trouble anchoring on the Columbia River and someone came up with this design which is supposed to work extremely well, how well it works remains to be seen!

So I wonder if Kalifornia will enact laws to where LE will have to contact their supervisor before they can fire their weapon? Discussed a little on the local redneck radio.

If that happens it will be a sad day for LE. If you look at what is happening in America today, we have entered another Wild West age where anyone can obtain a weapon and do whatever they want with the weapon. I have to tell you that all the laws in the world will not stop a round from killing someone. The only way it will stop is once all the ne'er-do-wells are sent to a better place for them.

Kalifornia politicians managed to get a law passed a year or two back that released low level offenders to free up space in prisons. LE and DA's weren't happen about that.

I do not mean prison, I mean 6 feet under. The same way we took care of the Wild West and the roaring 20's.

That's what I gathered. Two problems solved, dirt bags eliminated, prison over crowding.
