Army Green is here!

This is the impetus for the Army Green...

 

Like the color but in a Matte finish.

That looks awful polished up like that IMO.

 

My father ran a US Army motor pool in France during WWII. He was friends with his Major so when the Major's jeep came in for service, my father had his guys hit it with a couple coats of lacquer to surprise him. Well, the Colonel saw it and blew a gasket and had my father brought to him where he gave him such a dressing-down, how could he do such a thing, this is a war zone and you can't put a gloss coat on it like that, you're defacing gov't property, I can bring you up on charges, etc. etc. The end result was my father had to do the same to the Colonel's Jeep.

Side note- a few of the mechanics that were given to my father's unit were German POWs that were mechanics in civilian life, a couple were Mercedes mechanics. They were the absolute best and were just about never under guard, they came and went like someone going to a job and then home to their tent or barracks at the end of their shift. They never tried to escape they knew they had it good.

 

It better have a tan interior.

 

Pretty sure dark gray, silver, black and white aren't going anywhere.

I'm sure when Toyota makes 3 different versions of green in a row like they had with blue, they will get one right. Maybe.

That's a better non-metallic green. Looks like it has more yellow in it.

 

Uhh am I the only one that thinks this is the best 3rd gen color yet?

Sherwin William's sells the CARC military paint. Its Chemically Abrasive Resistive Coating. I'm going that route. That new color looks like shit lol

I actually thought the BMW, was more of that shade, when I saw one at the dealer. I'm guessing it's that same shade as the pic. It was the same model.

I kind of like the lambo.

 

I dunno........I might want to figure a way to get some of that green in a wrap somewhere on my QS???????? Yikes, don't hate me to bad
