Anyone owned a popup trailer before? Curious if they are decent? Seen them on craigslist for pretty cheap frequently but feel like they are problematic. :notsure:

I’ve heard just bad things mostly. Most people say it’s loud when it gets windy. Not any more insulated than a ground tent as far as air is concearned. Not bear proof at all. If you’re looking at anything older you’ll have to deal with leaks as some point in the very near future.

I’m looking for one of those hard shell style campers that collapses as well. I think it’s called an aframe or chalet. Solid side that collapse for easy towing and I can throw all my shit on it while it’s in storage.

I have a set of Nerf bars "not sliders" if anyone wants them. They're for second gen access cab. I'm going to Santa Rosa next weekend so that's a good weekend too move them.

20190202_142907.jpg here's mine. They are pretty easy to work on. Theres a lot of info on popupportal.com. tons of mods you can do. And depending on the brand parts are cheap.had mine out this past January in a storm with winds at 40+ mph. Shook a lil, but stayed dry and warm with the furnace.let me know if you have questions, I've owned mine for awhile now.

Leaks are easy to fix, new canvas runs $900-$1000 for everything. The a frames are known to have seal issues. And it's best to store it open. The "skylight" windows are a known leak point, but a quick hit of silicon and your good

Check the wood behind the damaged paneling. If rotted you get to do some woodworking. But its easy.

I wanna see an old man with a white beard buy this and paint it white to match him, would be the only justifiable reason to buy this thing :santa:
