    There are long “fins” that go across the underside of the bed. Still trying to figure out how to drill while avoiding these

    Drill pilot holes from the bottom to make sure you don’t hit anything.

    Drilling from the bottom is damn near impossible with that gas tank and other stuff in the way

    I measured top and bottom distances from edge to align so I missed the fins, marked a spot and went slow with pilot hole. Mine is pretty much dead center up against back of bed

    I’m going to be installing an L track system on the floor of the bed . So lots of holes will need to be drilled. When I looked under the bed, it looks like the fins are every 3 or 4 inches apart . So this is going to take a lot of planning because the L tracks have preset holes where they need to be drilled

    Oh gotcha thought you were doing the tire mount. Yea that sounds like something that will need much more planning than I did.
