    hey,

I don't have them personally but know a few people that do. They are pretty amazing. off road and on road manners are great. OME have been in the game a long time so you can't go wrong. i think you will love them. depending on what leaf pack you went with, you will have a stiffer rear. you may want to invest in extended brake lines for the rear at least.

If you run the OME shock in the back, extended brake line are not needed.

Same lift if have. 887s. Sport shocks. NO extended brake lines. Bout to switch over to 255/80/17s

Rides great. Very similar to stock. It's more firm, which is fine with me. I did use a CB drop and 3° axel shims. I had a little bit of acceleration vibes at the beginning (very slight vibrations, basically i just noticed a little bit of difference), but after about 1k mi, it's as smooth as it was before the lift

I do have the OSBGC (over speed bump goes clunk) only on tall short speed bumps. I don't go over those much at all in my commute so it's a non issue with me.

CV angles are a little steep. nothing major. but bigger tires will help the angles.

I do live in west TN, so we don't salt roads or have any major rust problems so i wasn't too concerned with some having issues with rust and corrosion. "IF" it becomes a problem, then i'll switch to the bilsteins.

They're there? A long time ago, I purchased Amber covers and threw them on there for the winter. So yes, you will see Amber covers on them for the winter months. I plan on removing them this weekend and winter is, essentially, over.

OP, I put 887’s with Nitrocharger soft-ride shocks, and heavy duty Dakar’s in the rear, of my regular cab.

Ride improvement was immediately apparent. “Firm” is a good adjective to use when describing my ride, but it’s firm in that the driving dynamics (in this case I mean the movement of the new suspension components and how those relate/determine the ride quality I feel in the cab) make everything feel more fluid. It’s like whatever I drove over is covered in 1/4” of medium soft rubber sheets. Think of it like you’re a little bit more removed from the surface you’re driving over, or like the road/ground/trail has more “give” in it.

Don’t know if that makes sense, or if it’s helpful. Just feeling wordy today, I guess.

Also, my observations are after 1,000+ miles of the new suspension. There was a break-in period. And I’ve hauled a lot and towed with it, and that really helped the Dakar’s settle-in.

Your right! Thanks! Kinda "ass"umed the tire being tallerwould move the center, but didn't take into account that moved the whole truck up....so..... kinda embarrassed on the statement now! LOL

Running this myself. Stock UCAs and progressive add-a-leaf instead of the Dakars. No shims, no drop kits, no vibrations. I love the ride. Like others said, a bit firmer but not harsh at all.

Yea I have that kit in "Heavy" 886 springs and stock UCAs. Rides good now that I have the topper on, the back was a little stiff with an empty bed.

+1 with the HD Dakars and either the 885's or 887's (currently on 887's), but with SPC UCA's

I originally had the 885's with the Firm 90000, switched to the 90021 soft and I could not really notice a difference. *The 90000's where worn 70k+ and 8 ish years. Then switched to the 887's (level out the HD's in the rear). IMO, The 887 switch helped smooth the ride from leveling the truck the most.

If I could do it again I would use a different UCA, one with a heim joint for easy upper adjustment. The SPC design is not easy with the weight on the suspension.

How is that easier? You need to remove the UCA pivot to adjust the heims. I'm not sure but I think the billet ones can be adjusted on vehicle but $$$. Not sure if thats worth it.

I had 886s w/firm ome shock an nitrochargers our back with HD dakars. Armored up front just a bumper in the rear. The front rode fine the back was like a bucking bronco. Rode this setup for bout a year an got some coilovers up front now.
But had the HD dakars an 886 up front with king rear shocks man that was a great ride. I recommend regular dakars unless your loaded down.
