Doesn’t Oregon have some of the better school districts in the nation too? Portland specifically?

Lots of good schools in Oregon. And I feel like cost of living is still manageable. Meet plenty Hawaiians up here in Bend and around Oregon in general.

Hawksbill Crag is probably the most iconic for Arkansas, but lots more to be seen.

That’s what I am hoping for also. The public school system here is terrible and private school here is close to 20k a year.

Yea my friend in Happy Valley has three local families in his neighborhood. He also said there’s a few plate lunch places. That would make the move a lot easier for the family if we ran into some locals up there.

Here's the ranch I spent my whole life hunting, fishing, and helping work cattle a couple times a year on, since I was about 4. It's going to be sold in a couple years, the owner's over 70 years old and still runs this big ranch all by himself. Gonna miss this place and all the memories made here with my family and dog. I honestly don't even know what it's like not having a place like this to just go and relax, de-stress and enjoy life, and spend time with my family. I've been blessed and am sad to see that it's going to go. It almost feels like a part of me now.IMG_20180519_165910.jpg 476B7697edit.jpg

Lived just north of 29 Palms in a small town called Kelso. Nothing there but rabbits and plenty of them. Got to agree, that part of the country is hot. I can't imagine wearing dress blues in the summer there.
