Is anybody running the 3.6" shackle with a 14in shock on a SOA? Will a 14 give benefit over a 12 with that setup?

Spring Over. Just maxed my my 3 ton jack. Shackles haven’t even fully rotated yet, so I still have more droop left. All tires still on the ground.

Depends on your leaf pack. You want to go with a shackle-leaf combination that will allow your leaves to fully droop out and allow for the shackle to fully rotate over. The OME dakar pack is short, so a longer shackle, once fully rotated on the hanger at full droop, is long enough to arch the shorter leaf pack. Thus creating more droop. If you go with a longer shackle with longer leaves, such as all pro expos for example, the shackle won't be able to rotate over fully because of the length of the longer pack. So in those cases, the 3.6" or stock shackles would be a better option.

That's a really bad limit factor. You should extend them, we did when I did my relocate.

I like where your head is at, but alas, everything else on the truck is Mobtown and I want it all to work together!

@Alesimo congrats man! You’ll live them.

@Supra4x4 you should really extend those wires. I extended mine by like 4” and that’s all you really need.

Lol, yeah agreed I fully plan on extending them. I have them removed from the clip on the diff at the moment. under articulation, it should be fine. It's only at full vertical droop that they are stretched. Any tips for extending them? I'll probably strap' it just shy of full shock droop as well.

Just cut them, and solder in some wire, and heat shrink. I cut up an old CAT5 cable and used that.

I didn't do it but supposedly it's as simple as depinning the plug and splicing in some extra wire.

Sweet, thanks. If the sensor is a simple power and ground, that'll be easy.

Thanks, I’m very happy with how it came out. Just enough slack at full droop on the lift.

Love it. I'll need to get a soldering set up. No way I'm just splicing that in.
This will be a perfect time to do my diff breather bs
