The key, obviously, is finding the parasitic loss. I would start with anything straight wired to power ignition off, see if they're drawing too many volts. Sensor circuits and module circuits usually run on a 5v reference, unless on the diagram it shows it to be a 12v circuit. As long as the 5v signal is 4.8v-5.2v when it's supposed to have a voltage reading, call it good. If a circuit isn't supposed to have that voltage in that condition, you know you either have a bad component, cross-circuit short (short to power), or a component that is internally shorting to power. Start with the easy stuff, like this circuit shouldn't have power with the ignition off.... Oh crap it's got a 1.2v signal when it shouldn't have any voltage.... Type of thing. Once those are knocked out, move to circuits are known to be on, ignition off and see if their voltage reading is too high. Do voltage drops between junctions, buses and components to determine what part of the circuit had the errant voltage signal and thendetermine if either the component, connector/junction/bus or wires are shorting to power.

All of your wiring needs to be disconnected and thrown out and re run. It's a damn rat's nest. Once that's done, everything will be clean and easily identified.

 

Or it could just be your melted fuse box
