Right. Which is why I said I wouldn't have bought a D or E rated tire. MPG and ride quality. Also part of the reason I justify buying new wheels- they're lighter than stock:cool:

    This.
I love mine, and will eventually replace them with another set (if they ever wear down).

Without looking it up; an all season will be less aggressive, quieter, and better for highway use.

All terrain tires are usually designed for mostly highway use, but aggressive enough for some mild off road use.

For me, they got loud, are heavy, and terrible in clay mud. If they are gonna be loud and heavy, there are a lot of new options. The ST MAXX are heavy, but are better on everything I have taken them through. I wanted the STT Pro, but no 255/85 yet. Just seems like they are older tech these days. I have run them a lot, but I've moved on.

I guess if I planned on doing a lot of mudding I would have bought mud tires. Also, these tires are super quiet so far. I'll keep them rotated and see how it goes.

I did hit some mud up in Adams County recently and the only thing I noticed was that it seems tough to keep the truck going straight. I figured it was because of the ruts being wider than my track since everyone up there probably drives a full size.

I might have looked at the coopers if they weren't so heavy.

I have 46K+ miles on my 16’ Sport. Plan is to replace the stock Firestone tires with Falken Wildpeaks in 265/70/17. Just a few more thousand miles to go. Stocks + rains = no good.
