    An unreliable engine
It’s possible, the battery would weigh a ridiculous amount though

The batteries are also really hard to put out if they catch on fire. And once they’re out they can still re-ignite

Any electrician or Hydro guy will tell you that if we all got electric vehicles, came home and plugged them in, brownout then blackout. The power grid is not capable of taking the load from all these cars plugged in. Especially in air-conditioning season. Fast chargers require a 90Amp feed ...

No-one talks about the capacity of these batteries when it gets below -20C, yeah you can put heaters on them, but heaters will take a LOT of juice to keep that volume of batteries warm enough because you can't use huge amounts of heat insulation due to size.

Rechargeable batteries have a lifespan and their capacity is always dropping over time/use, whats the cost to swap out those battery packs after 5-10 years. We don't have the capacity to recycle all the batteries we have now.

Lol ever see a Lithium Ion battery short out.... people figure that since there is no gasoline there is no risk after an accident...

Gotta love them for the "instant full torque" they have though.
If it were not for the batteries, in theory an electric motor in a truck would be better for off-road , full torque available at "idle". I know they are better at initial acceleration on the street.
