    when i lived in B/CS back in the 80's Harvey road had the highest DWI rate in the country per capita. not sure about the current stats.
    I was about the only one in my group that didnt get one.

    It's a "ghetto" thing imo... I never see them in the affluent suburbs of Texas cities, but I see a shit ton of them everywhere else.

    I see them all the time. I live in Houston. Most of the time it's guys who have too much money and jack up their F350 4 feet and then put those stupid rims on them in whatever color scheme. Everything is anodized and crazy looking and completely wastes the truck for any real work.

    I see most guys mount them here. The Aussies usually mount antennas to those top holes, probably because it obscures line of sight
