    Yep. Unless you were ripping gears when problems happened I'd bet the clutch failed. I'm no mechanic, just using reason to encourage a not worst case scenario.

    That's my thought. I didn't even downshift, I just barely hit the pedal to go around someone, wasn't in any rush haha.

    Yeah the stock clutch just can't handle SC power. Mine went out within 6k miles. Thought I was just a shitty manual driver but started seeing it more and more from people.

    Went with a Stage 3 clutch, got 2 years and about 40k miles on it. So if this is just a clutch replacement I'll call it a win.

    Not really. It has like 27k on it.

    It was making a slight crunchy noise, so I ordered a solid drive coupler.

    Figured I might as well pull the rotors and grease the needle bearings as well.

    Old nose coupler looks fine though. Not sure where the noise is coming from. Bearings all feel good.

    Woohoo! Just got a phone call from the Mechanic, clutch was grenaded, flywheel is in pretty good condition, they can do some light resurfacing and make it good as new. Just ordered another Stage 3 from URD and threw in a throw out bearing upgrade just to replace the one thats been in there. Might as well since they're already in there

    I'll go conservative. I'll just add more power if needed.430 seems good. But at Seattle traffic speeds I could go 520somethings.
