It's also a guesstimate, whereas I weighed mine today. To be precise it was 114.75 lbs :D

Mine with black PC as pictured is $1,400.

Wait until you check it out in person. The devil is in the details. For example, how they cap off the tube. All the other manufacturers just chop it off at 90 degrees because it's easier. Probably my favorite feature of it.

I definitely want to see it in person before making that decision....i cant afford an aluminum one so my options are that or an ARB deluxe

I like the ARB. Two totally different sides of the spectrum though. Your build is more of a lightweight go fast type build and IMO this suits that better, or any hybrid for that matter. ARB is more for the overland/australian outback type rigs.

It is so ridiculously long too. Plus, i have no idea what they weigh, it seems no one has taken the time to actually weigh one.

You arent wrong. I am seriously considering switching to aluminum skids after getting some from Joe for the 2018 4Runner. If i could get him to reenforce the piss out of them with gussets and such, i could save 50-60lbs easily.

Yeah it's crazy how much lighter they are, about half the weight. And I have no idea on an ARB weight either. If you ask @Kemosabe nicely, he can weigh his. He's putting one on tomorrow morning!

That seems to be the standard for most bumpers on the market. Of course that's excluding fab fours and other monstrous stuff like that.

now you see why i have always wanted aluminum....because i could be into one of them and a winch and be at or below the weight of a bare steel bumper.....
