2017 Toyota Tacoma SR access cab seats

All,

I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota Tacoma SR access cab with the utility package. I was hoping that it would be easy to find a seat kit to add back seats in place of the utility area as I need a seat for my son. Not so easy, from my understanding I need to switch out everything in the back, add seats, replace the panel, add seat belts etc. any advice or sources for this I would greatly appreciate! Located in a South Florida... thank you!

 

People on this site are going to tell you to trade in for a double cab or ask why you got the utility package knowing it had no rear seats. Probably the only solution would be to go to a pick a part place and find all the pieces you need or find someone on the buy/sell thread that has the jump seats and is willing to make a deal with you. The last option would be going to the dealer and buy the parts buy they are going to charge you and arm and a leg. I too have the access cab with no rear jump seats because those seats only fit kids and no adults due to the size of the space behind the front seats.

 

I’ve done it. Its not that hard.
Got the seats and headrests used, had them re-upholstered to match front seats. Purchased everything else new. It was about $1k total.

 

Fuck yes. Is it a manual?

If it is, pay for the jump seats, don’t sell the truck. You’ll be handing that truck down to your kid in 16 years. That configuration is worth its weight in gold.

 

I'm sure there are people here who have pulled the jump-seats and can hook you up, especially if you trade them the "Utility kit".

Thanks all, I appreciate the feedback. I got a great deal on the truck and couldn’t pass it up... as for the jump seats if any runs across a source or wants to trade out for my utility package let me know.

I was going to buy a Access Cab and remove the jump seats. But ended up going with a Tundra.

Is that rear panel black?

 

I have access cab rear seats and the back panel, and head rests for sale, for $200 + shipping. Also, don't have the center console. They are from a 2010 though, and are grey, not black. Up to you to double check part numbers.

Is this possible? The utility pkg storage spaces look different than my access cab with jump seats. Then you have to swap the side panels with seat belts too...

Just have to change the storage lids. Side panels already have the holes for seatbelts, they are just covered with a rubber cap.

 

Hey guys, Ive got the rear seats, panel and headrests from a 2016 access cab up for trade/sale! I really want a black utility panel if anyone is interested? seats are grey cloth and in great condition
