    Yes i check my junk/spam mail and search for it as well. Nothing. I have the online reciept with order number so i should be good to go since they did confirm via phone :fingerscrossed:

    No it’s not the black tip. That’s the one I wanted but when I spoke with the parts guy before I placed the order he said it showed it’s on backorder. I’ll post an update in this thread after install tomorrow morning.

    It seems pretty easy based off this video (they are installing the gibson exhaust but shows in detail how to take the stock off). I’m gonna try it by myself.

    I just received the email saying my order is ready for pickup, 3.5 hours away, even though I paid for shipping to my address. :facepalm:

    Edit: called the dealer, email was automatic, waiting on fourth wheel, will be shipped to my house! :bananadance::yes:

    Like many others I order (Sema wheels, pro shift knob). Received confirmation that clearly showed the shipping and credit for TRD SHIP. Received the second automated email showing shipment in 2--4 days etc.

    Then received an email from the dealer that this was a "mistake" and asking for shipping money. Told the dealer to cancel and that other dealers were honoring; and that I now knew which dealers to do business with.

    This am I get an email that Toyota "is covering it".

    I *do* feel sorry for the dealers. I cannot imagine not getting fired if I managed a promotion this poorly.

    What started out as a great marketing program turned to shit by poor implementation.

    Edit - At least someone at Corp did the right thing re: shipping in the end.

    Took about an hour and a half but I got it installed. Sounds pretty damn good IMO
