2019 Formula 1 Season Paddock

I think that could be part of it, but I also think Vettel is just a great race manager. He wins races when he's out front in a dominate car (V8 Red Bull), but sees the red mist or has brain fade if he needs to pass (even against Webber the few times he was in front). Lewis is a fantastic passer and better "racer." Vettel seems to be a bit lost if he's not in front and in the best car.

 

I think Merc's gonna have their hands full if Ferrari get their act together. They looked really strong until Vettel dropped the ball and the ICE dropped a cylinder. China should be interesting.

 

Meh we were saying the same thing last year too. Ferrari looked great and competitive then sort of faded away in the second half of the season. Hopefully wont happen again!

The mid pack is looking really interesting this year. Seems like all teams are pretty even and are staying bunched up a lot more.

 

The way Leclerc drove the last two races I think Merc has a lot more to worry about from him than Vettel. Last race he was told to back off rather than passing Vettel, and this race he dominated until his car failed him.

 

Somewhere back in the 2018 thread I picked him to be WDC in 2019. I still think he'll do it.

I'm going with April Fool's strictly off the project name lol. And I find it hard to believe Toyota would totally disband their dominating WEC team.

But who knows...guess we will find out today at "lunch"

Now I like him even more. One race I can see, maybe even two if practice is lopsided in the other's favor. Later in the season when there is a clear front runner as well. But when it's (early in the season) every race, it's time to let the faster driver drive faster.

 

Must be April fools. Would be way too good to be true. I'd love to see Toyota mix it up. May confuse me a little though. I love to cheer for the US team, but Toyota probably wouldn't be. I'd be so torn!

Down here it is an extra for that channel and 8 other channels that are total BS, so I have not paid the extra for years.
I would love to do a la carte TV, pay for blocks of 20 channels and be done....
Man would my bill go down...

 

Not to wander too far off topic but I think you'll find that the OTT/streaming revolution will eventually let you do just that. What I don't think will happen is your total bill going down once you pay all those individual subscription fees.
