Haha that’s what everyone is saying, and I’m more than ok with that. I really enjoy doing this. It’s a great hobby, and much different than my normal job of cyber security.

Looks like I'm headed to Norfolk in November for a few years. While I don't have a taco anymore, would love to meet some of ya'll. I'll be there at one of the helicopter squadrons.

Any suggestions where to avoid living? Wife's a CPA and will be looking for work out there if anyone knows of companies looking for someone with about 5 years experience.

My suggestion would be to not put a bridge or tunnel between your residence and work. If you can figure out what base you are working at it will help with better suggestions, sorry

I will be on Norfolk itself. Definitely don't want to put that long one between home and work, hear horror stories from people all the time. Any neighborhoods right off base I should or should not look at? Saw some new builds mixed in with old in a lot of that area.

The chesepeake area is very nice and not too horribly far from norfolk base.

    Hey everyone,
My truck was totaled in an accident, so I have a few things I don't need around any more. I DO NOT have the truck available to part out. I have a long bed ARE cap with side windoors front sliding/folding window, and a roof rack. ($600) Set of weather tech floor mats, front and rear, for a double cab.($50) As well as a set of wheels and tires. 285/70/17 Duratracs on a black procomp 6 spoke wheels. Tires have about half life or so left. I can get tread depths on them Monday after work. ($800)
I also have a set of rear expo leaf springs. 3" lift that I never sold after parting out the suspension modifications. ($200)
