I have a 2018 tacoma. I recently bought an aftermarket trd pro grill. After installing it, I had the PCS sensor recalibrated. Since installing the grill the PCS sensor has been working for the first part of my drive with the cruise control and everything. Then it will shut off and nothing will work. I checked it and it’s clean. No debris in the way of the sensor. I went back it and had it recalibrated again and it did not fix the issue. Anyone have this issue with aftermarket grills and the tss garnish.

how long have you had it installed? based on the thread found here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/72-pro-grille.592892/page-16#post-20228171

other members have said you have to drive for a week or ~100 miles for it to recalibrate itself. but since you had it calibrated, i really don't have an answer. I've had mine in for roughly over a week. i did not take it in for calibration. during the first few days, i'd see the PCS OFF light come on, and i just carry on. now it doesn't turn on anymore from what i've seen.

Did you get the recall done?

Okay. I’ll just try and drive it an see if that works. I just thought it was weird that it would operate fine with adaptive cruise control and then shut off. As far as the recall they said it was for my original grill PCS mounting. Since I changed it they said it doesn’t apply.

That’s bs. I’ve got a pro grille and they replaced mine.
