A little bit of this, a little bit of that...
Where can I find information on SKU# needed for a 2gen Tacoma? I went to the ADS site and couldn't figure out which size shocks to select. Just looking for a 3" lift.

ADS did not allow us to run a full on group Buy.

If anyone is interested, please PM me and we can work out a price for ya!

    Matt here

These part numbers are proprietary, so they are made per our specs and for us only. FYI ADS is still trying to fulfill our stocking order we have had in place since the beginning of the year with multiple orders still outstanding. Its maybe not a good idea to act like you carry the brand unless you have the product on hand to send out.

Also ADS is not fond of doing Group Buys, this comes directly from the owner. We get asked to do them pretty often and we refuse to do so to respect the owner.

Cool. Welcome to my thread, Matt.

We do stock some things, King and Fox, but more so on the Raptor side of things since that’s actually a bigger market for us.

We just started working with ADS and people know lead times and other things up front. It’s not always important to have stock, but to help the client learn and help them get what works best for their needs.

I’ve talked with the owner and @geekhouse23 made this thread before things were all clear, hence why I said this is not turning into a group buy.

Now, I can feel the slightly harsh tone from you, so that’s great. I have sent people your way before for stuff we do not carry, so if we can be nice to each other, we can both benefit from it. I also didn't go jumping in your thread for clients.

    Thanks,
    Roman

    Matt here again....

You are pointing potential customers to our website to get information on part numbers that are proprietary, this is the main reason we posted up. I think its important for your potential customers to know that the specifications for the shocks they receive from you will be different from the ones we carry which have our HS part numbers.

Also ADS ran into issues getting materials needed to complete builds and fulfill outstanding stocking orders. As an official vendor on here who literally carries the ADS brand as well as stocks it, I felt it was important to inform potential buyers so that they are not forking over a bunch of money waiting for who knows how long to get their parts. Lead times are one thing, but when there are other factors that are holding up production its difficult to specify a lead time.

Nothing harsh here, just pointing out important information to forum members so they are well aware, which I personally feel is important and I believe they would feel the same.

For sure. I know you have your own part numbers. My clients base theirs off that and come to me with it, I don't tell them go look at your site then come to me, but ADS gave me theirs and that's what ultimately gets ordered.

I've been trying to become an official vendor, but haven't gotten anything back besides being told do what I want on here...

Y'all should also check your pricing on multiple products for MAP violations...

Using the SKU off of anyone's website would work, no?

Searching SKU 250-T4F23-000 gave me results for Vivid Racing, HorsePower Freaks, DownSouth Motorsports, Headstrong Offroad, etc.

I should have specified, and I planned on going back to get Roman the proper SKU's however, all is moot since the GB isn't happening.

Marie Here...That is an ADS sku, probably the only non proprietary part we have of theirs on our site. What we were saying is our parts are our parts and they are not for sale by anyone else and are not the same specifications as what ADS has. Maybe it may have been better to say check out ADS's site for ADS's parts that way buyers know what they are getting and it doesn't confuse matters.
