I actually have both of those... I installed the gap sealer for the bottom, made sure to clean both surfaces up real well with alcohol. It Lasted a couple weeks before edges started peeling up and dirt was getting under the adhesive. Just didn't end up being the right product for me I guess as it seems to get good reviews. The lip on the tailgate side was also kind of a pain anytime you slid something in the bed you had to make sure to clear it. I ended up using some random bits of closed cell neoprene tape around the tailgate sides and haven't had any real issues with dust.

I may have to reconsider them for sure. Sounds like it would be a good option.

    ...too much shit to list.
I’ve had mine on for over 4 months. In all fairness, you really need to apply it when the truck is warm. I heated my truck with a heat gun since it was winter.

Interesting. I’ve had mine for over a year without issue. I spent a bit of time prepping the area where it gets stuck on to in hopes it would hold. The bottom one that closes the gap at the bottom of the tailgate was the biggest gamechanger. The amount of dust that would come through there when driving was unreal.
@MJonaGS32 saw the difference in Baja between his truck without it and mine.
He think he had one ordered before we even got back from the trip

I just added extra bulb seal to the top of my relentless tailgate replacement, but the dust was really coming in from the sides not the top.

It might be the same thing, but its actually stuck onto the bottom of the Drifter rear hatch - the part that is in contact with the Relentless tailgate reinforcement.

Definitely. So much better with it on

Finally got around to organizing one of my bins. Two different deutsch connectors: one has 10 AWG wires (solar, LED bar); and one has 14-16 AWG wires (dust lights, flood lights, water pump). And a quick disconnect for the 2 AWG wires that power the Blue Sea fuse panel. This makes it easy to take off/on the Drifter.

The air compressor sits on a small shelf so that I can fit the spare CV axle underneathe. Other spare parts: inner/outer tie rods, U-Joints for the front & rear drive shafts, and lower ball joint. The other misc crap (kettle, various rope, etc) sits on top of a feaux floor out of foam to separate it from the spare truck parts.

That looks tidy. My storage is a jumblefrack at the moment. I think I need to finish some more of the wiring tasks to have a real clue as to where I’m going to store certain items. I did get my heater solution finally conceptualized. Now, I just need to start the build process for it.

It never ends. I am hoping this will be the last cpl months on the truck of tinkering and messing. ThenI saw the damn green Taco. Mother fudge, I always wanted a green tacoma since I was in high school in the 90's, jesus I am dating myself here. May have to use the BBP taco for work this summer buy the pro, ugh, and switch everything over to the new truck, then use the old truck strictly for work and get paid for it. Hmm, two tacos?

If Toyota stays with their past history you’ll be able to get the green in 2021 on any truck you want and not have to pay the premium for the pro.

Thanks! I actually have more storage than I need now since I’ve kinda downsized on certain things. Plus the organization of everything just creates a lot of space.

It never ends. I got my truck over 12 yrs ago and have been modding it since. Hell, I’ve had the Drifter for a year and I’m still adding to it :D

    Check out the build
We totally get the long wait times! Customer support completely exceeded our expectations which is why they are so long. We’re working at shortening the lead times as much as we can.

What setup are you going with?

Could be the solution for @aaen to get out that new green pro.

Haha. Now now. I don't need help spending my money!

Its also coming up to trail check out time for my lil tour of BC i plan to do later this summer. I’ll report back as I have mapped it all out on paper, just need to verify a cpl sections are doable aka not paint scratchers/over grown resulting in hours of trail clearing. Hearing mixed results on a few sections
