Hello, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with a question I have about the TRD 16 inch Rims. I also got the TRD Lug nut set (PTR2735100) and got them switched out but the tire guys said they might be a little small and wondering if driving on them will be okay? Thanks

Sounds like they were trying to sell you some lug nuts.

I used the stock lugs with the black glossy 16” pro rims and I just bought the set ptr27-35100 to put on the trd beadlocks style 16” rims. Hope this helps.

I thought stock lug nuts would work with TRD wheels because they are OEM wheels. Didn’t know there were TRD lug nuts also.

They fit narrower holes in the wheel I believe...but I also like to think they are performance lugs that add at least 5 hp and 2 mpg.

You need to buy the TRD lug nuts to fit the TRD Beadlock wheels, so I'd assume it'd be the same for the Pro wheels as well. They're not cheap, and the key is trash.

yeah don't use tapered seat lug nuts on trd wheels :annoyed:I can't believe the tire shop would even let you drive away on them

So will the factory lugs work on the TRD wheels? 16” or 17” non bead lock. Just ordered a set a want to make sure.
