Before this taco it was other tacos. 98 sr5, 2011 OR, 95 DLX, 91 single cab V6, 87 4runner that was slow as shit.. always 6 lug.

Before my 2008 Versa I had a 1981 Tacoma , 1992 Tacoma, and a 2004 Nissan Titan , now I have a 2018 Tacoma Offroad

 

Before my 2006 Tacoma, I had a 2001 Tundra. The Tundra was just too big and it was green and I am a blue person. I also had a 91 HiLux at the same time but it was hit by a texting bimbo. Before the 91 I had an 86 HiLux (may favorite). I also had a 96 Jeep Wrangler at that time which I traded for a 2006 TJ Rubicon which lives in the garage with the Tacoma and my wife's Renegade we got her last year when the Jeep Liberty finally died.

 

Terrible choice, was Chevy truck month (end of year closeout in October) all my friends were upgrading and getting $12k off, silly me was like oh I want a full size, oh this is nice, maybe I should upgrade too, traded off my lifted, beautiful 11 AC. Drove the Silverado off the lot and had buyers remorse the same day, 4 months later I was back in a Taco, took a bath on that one too come trade in. Never again, never again.

My Tacoma is my 27th owned vehicle out of 41. I typically keep vehicles for 4-6 month before I get bored of them. My longest ownership was my #6 car that I had for 2.5 years, beyond that it’s been a tie between #13 and #19 for two years each.

My 2010 Tacoma I’ve had for nearly 3 years, which sets the new record.

Scrounged everything I had and bought a '76 CJ-7 in December, with no top, bald tires and blown front differential, needed new brakes... Drove home in freezing temp, in the rain, the happiest kid alive! Lol! Wish I had pics but back then there weren't phones and digital cameras, lol!

(and my dad just about kicked my ass for buying it, lol! Actually, that's how I first started to learn howto build trucks. He said I can't believe you bought this piece of junk, if you ever miss a day of school because it's not running I'm gonna whoop your ass!)
