Finished the panel today. Everything works making sure the fridge works well with it. Set the temp to 13 and let it run all night to see if it kicks off or not

Thoughts on this cv joint leak on my wife’s 2004 rx330 with 150k miles. We’re getting rid of it in September and don’t really feel like putting more money into it between now and then.

Any way to band-aid it? Obviously if it is not safe, I'll do the right thing. I don't hear any clicking or any other degradation I can tell by driving it.

Is that the CV joint or the power steering rack?

Asking because I swear I can see the actual boot behind it in the picture.

You're absolutely right lol. It is the power steering rack. And the power steering fluid is fine.

In that case I wouldn't worry too much about. Just watch the fluid. :)

If it completely dies she'll know for sure!

We keep it local, but I keep an eye on the fluid levels for everything. This thing is a lemon.

My folks had one. It wasn't that great. Then they went and got another one.

    A thing or two...
Put in work today, and I'm fucking wiped. I blame the tumor because it's not usually this bad. I started losing steam after the first side, and it just went down from there. Anywho... enough of my whining. On to the work.

Installed gussetted spindles, 2010+ 4Runner front brakes with OEM dust shields, and new hubs/bearings. Also, retorqued the rear suspension (u-bolts, shocks, and leaf spring/shackle bolts).

Behold the wonders of engine braking. Original stock brake pads with nearly 120,000 miles on them.

    Passenger side done.

Caliper peaking out. Fills out the wheel pretty well.

Random whole truck shot waiting for the pizza place to open after we finished. Only took 7 hours.

Not sure, I've had too many beers to crawl back under and take another photo. I'll try to get another one up here.
