I believe the gray on the FN is darker than the gun metal on the Sema. In this photo they appear light and at other times is swear I had black rims. They are also 0* offset I think the pros are -4*, but don't quote me on that.image.jpg

Today I installed 3 degree shims and got rid of the 20mph vibration. The vibration came on when I lifted my '19 OR (Bilstein 6112 / 5160 / AAL) about 2.5" a few weeks ago. Thanks to these forums(!!!) I was able to diagnose that my rear pinion angle had probably changed enough to cause the vibration. Wasn't too excited about disassembling the rear suspension again, but after the work was done the test drive was smooth as silk.

Installed some paint protection film along the top edge of the tailgate and finished waxing her up today. Paint is protected and ready for the sun bake of the summer.

Doesn't that cool the egr valve? It does on my 5.8l Bronco. The egr gets so Hot it glows if you unhook that on a Bronco. It will actually melt the surrounding plastic parts. Don't know Toyota is the same but you might be playing with fire. Literally.

There is no egr on this truck. It comes from the block to the Throttlebody and back to engine.

My new Tacoma was delivered to the dealer Thursday night. I bought it Friday after work, and made my first mod within 24 hours. I gave the bed an oak interior, with the help of my wife. We drove it 150 miles to my property, then drove it around the logging roads and trails. Before we left we cut up an oak tree that fell near the cabin and brought some firewood home. I’m making the truck earn her keep day-one. I LOVE the truck. Sold my 2011 Tundra Rock Warrior to a friend thru the dealer as a trade in (to reduce my sales tax). Ordered a Toyota bed mat and blackout emblem overlays from the dealer. Will probably put the spacers on the seats to raise them up a bit. But it was more comfortable than I expected on the three hour drive (each way) today. I was pleased with the way it hauled the load of firewood over the big mountains on the way home. First big mod will likely be a topper, when I get time to order it.

Less than 500 miles on her, but couldn’t wait to get off-road! Also, debadged (not a fan of chrome). Stoked to get more done and do some more driving in the future!

Mounting under the rails lights the bed up and also keep them out of the way when you stuff in the bed.
