The only thing you have to "send in" is your computer registration info. Once that's done, read the instructions and tune your truck.

Try the 87 base out. I commuted in it (in heavy traffic) and it really started to shine after about 300 miles. Mpgs went up and response was really nice (I have bigger tires and lift too)

I didn't care for the performance tune when going low speed. It hangs on to the low gear, higher RPM, which makes it jumpy/jerky.

Yeah that’s what I’m worried about. However the base tunes sound really good in their own right. Anything to get rid of the crazy transmission quirks and dead pedal feel

91 base tune is money for me. So smooth and has plenty of power to accelerate around slow drivers when needed. Getting high 18’s and low 19’s on trips that I used to get 16’s and under previously. I used Techstream to clear learned values this time. Love the way the truck drives now.

Neither of the performance tunes are great for stop-and-go traffic or off-roading IMO. Either base tune is better, but I found my sweet spot with 87 Base and ECT on. It's like Mary Poppins - practically perfect in every way. Give it a shot.

Just ordered last weekend (#4295), but have the software and registration done - just waiting on the cables now. From what I've read, 87 base will be my starting point and most likely where I'll stay. Living at 6600 feet, regular is 85 octane but will run the mid-grade 87; the best we can get is 91. The slight delay due to backorder will work out and I'll just download the upcoming file where Matt is providing the shutter fix.

I’m right there with ya #4277. Just need the Kit Accessories. I’ll be trying 87 Base, and I consistently run Non-Ethanol 90 octane. Looking forward to seeing the results.

It should dial in very nicely. 300 miles was noticeable in the way the tune settles with higher octane gas

Just don’t get frustrated if the first tank of gas doesn’t see the results. They will shine on the second full tank

Thanks, I’m hoping for good things.
I’m running the TRD Factory Intake and The TRD Exhaust. Hopefully the Tune will adjust and allow for the correct air-fuel mixture and such.

LOL you must be in So Cal! I agree with these guys, 87 Base, and use ECT if you get tired of the "1100 rpm lug" (you will know what I mean once your your driving base)

I’m in DC which has almost as bad traffic as LA. My wife is from LA and I’m out there a lot, so I have a good frame of reference on how crappy traffic can get lol
