Yeah it was just done and the tilt of the pic didn’t help. It’s dead on. Ground to fender is 39” front and back

Nice looks good. I find with these trucks they look nose high even when they are level because the hood sticks up higher than the bed.

    Lots of truth to that.

Only needed if you can’t get 2.5+ caster on oem ones. Typically higher than 2” lift.

Curious, are you looking at the RC and pro comp kits with the spacers or the front lift struts?

This looks pretty sweet, nice middle of the pack lift kit.

Bilstein 6112 up front and 5160 or 5100 in the rear with a 3 leaf progressive AAL.

The 6112 comes with it's own coil and is a much thicker shock, more stout than the 5100.
    bilsteins.jpg

Max height with a 6112 is two inches, probably the sweet spot for Tacoma lift heights.

    https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/...MIrNaav4e-4QIVQhx9Ch1dowmmEAQYASABEgKScvD_BwE

Heres the setup for less than $1200, add a 3 leaf from headstrong or wheelers for another $175.

Theres a reason this kit is always sold out.

My experience with 5100s was just ok. I did have them set to 2.5 up front which resulted in a bad ass look but the ride was awful, and when I hit a bump at a speed higher than 5 mph the shock would max out and a loud bump would happen. Same with the rear. I changed out the rear for longer bilistein shocks shocks and that helped a ton. But I honestly wished I had gotten better coilovers. If you don't plan on raising it to 2.5 in then you will probably have a better exp than I did.

OME is worth the extra coin. You get a full suspension replacement. They are respected in the offroad community and have good quality.

I recommend doing the install yourself though so you see how it all goes together. It’s pretty easy. You’ll save some money too.

I would possibly consider installing it b/c I am a huge tight wad, however, the Tacoma is my daily driver and I am a single Dad...I have a 67 Camaro also but it is heater delete and the windshield wipers suck so I can only drive it in good weather....therefore if I broke the Tacoma or if took too long I would be SOL.

I was thinking this too. OME is a really close second if not a tie. Just thinking the OME rear leafs might be overkill for your needs but will handle payload better. If you go this route you can buy a KYB assembly kit so you can get the struts preassembled and that will help speed up installation especially if you find someone to help you out with it.

I hauled a butt load of mulch today and I still have a load of gravel to pick up so I do use my truck like a truck. It handled the mulch pretty good.
