What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

What notch did you set yours on and are you using the factory springs ?

 

Don't see many elite struts. I have the same for over 2 years now. Wipe the rods down and grease them once in a while. Surprising how much trash builds up on them.

 

Then whats that cooling hose cool? Doubt it's a throttle body warmer. Trying to educate myself on these coming from big food engines. Whatever it does disconnecting doesn't sound good.

I set at the third notch (1.1” I think) for two reasons:

1. I am using factory springs so I didn’t want to pre load them too much and over stiffen the ride.
2. I am planning to add a diamondback and a fair amount of equipment to the bed so I didn’t want to end up sitting nose high.

 

Looks nice and green down there at Baton Rouge.

 

Even the JBL premium door speakers look the same. I was kind of shocked when I pulled the door panels.

 

Yeah, I had been putting off getting a set, but when Redline had a 20% off sale I jumped on them.

 

Do you like the way it rides? And was it worth the money?

 

Anyone know of a Shop to do the ECGS Bushing near Redding Calf. I checked around and I'm not having much luck.

 

So far yes. It got rid of the kinda mushy feeling stock front suspension but it isn’t rough now at all. I only have about 30 miles on it post change though. I am going to play with the tire pressure some.

3D scanned the rear-seat storage areas today and will start designing some new organizers or shelving system for them. It was time to straighten out all the junk back there.

Any suggestions for how to best use the space back there?

 

That's awesome how you and other people can do that. Hell I don't even have a computer.

 

I'm building a full replacement system for back there -- subwoofer, amp, uhf/vhf box, solar mppt controller, gun.

Got my little push button momentary switch in today and wired up my ECT switch on my shift knob. Solder and shrink wrap on my connections.
Pulled the ECT button out and tapped into pin #1 and #4. Ran my 2 wires under the wireless charger, into the shift boot and up to the shifter. Then put it back. Works like a charm. Don’t have to take my eyes off the road to push it.

 

It sure is
