Maybe. Some guys were talking about Smittybilt trailers and I let them know that the brand had been sold. They were strong in Connecticut but for reasons they never explained moved everything to Oregon. I think I shared the official press release somewhere here on TacomaWorld.

Don’t register for ATR yet. Just tried and the form is wonky. Talking to Brett now to give him a heads up so he can get it sorted.

@G.T. is there a spanner wrench or 5/8 punch at the shop? Threw those Kings on last night and they’re set a little tall for my liking.

Just from reading I was worried about the 600# coils being too light of a spring rate. Now that they’re on there I think they’ll be perfect, there pretty firm now so I’m betting taking some preload off will solve it all (885’s I had are 590#/inch and .5” longer, I believe).

All the research I’ve done tells me I just need to take all the load off the coil, lube it up, loosen the set screw and turn the collar. Let me know if I’m missing something, this is my first foray into high end suspension setups.

I was on 600# as well. Added a bumper and then quickly realized I needed 700#

Got an arb bumper, no winch. I’m also rocking the 4 popper, which for being so close in weight to the 1gr sure does make a difference with lifting. Bought 886’s in anticipation for the arb bumper, immediately took em off because my cvs were Z’s lol.

So painting the sliders 2 weeks ago gave me back my confidence with a rattle can. Started looking around the house for other things to paint. Settled on my P90 :D

Whatever was pouring out of the back of grease truck that we had to deal with twice on the way back from Tennessee wasn’t petroleum based. Some kind of food grade crap I reckon. Pressure washed the Toyota’s and the trailer and it all came off easy enough and left no rainbow puddles.

Looks like the misso will be driving the LandCruiser to Tennessee for ATR again so I’ve got to start knocking out a few projects on it to get it ready. Front pinion bearing for starters and then just replacing a few other parts a little ahead of the prescribed maintenance schedule. Reckon I’ll have all of those parts by next month or so.
