    @mattgecko Great customer service!!! I ordered both bed and under hood leds, received the package and only bed leds were in it. Emailed Matt and he responded within an hour that he was sorry that he forgot to include them and gave me new tracking number. Thanks again

    Finally got to install the underhood kit I got from @mattgecko. Fantastic service from him too, we had a bit of a mix-up on the instructions but Matt got me straightened out and sent the correct directions via email right away. Clean install, and they work perfectly!

    One detail I found for my fellow 3rd gen folks if it hasn’t been mentioned before... if you get this set with the plunger style switch, I just removed one of the rubber bushings above/behind the headlight that the hood normally contacts when closed and mounted the switch in the hole with a couple of fender washers. It’s worked so far, and it gives the plunger enough free play below to avoid crushing or bending the connections.

    Finally getting around to post about this.

    I bought a kit back in November and have used it on several trips. Instructions were super easy to follow and it included everything you need for the install. The lights are super bright and perfect for camping and unloading/loading the truck at night.

    Does anyone have PDF instructions? Bough it off of someone who never got to use it. Watched the video, also question, can I just run the negative wire and connect it to a ground under the hood(anyways you gotta bring the positive one) instead of drilling a hole in the frame?

    This has probably been answered, tried looking but couldn't find much, I'm curious, with the truck off, how long I can have these lights on without having to worry about it, when were camping/cooking at night, lights could be left on for 2+hours straight, to cook & clean etc, stock battery, it's about two years old
